Yo' Mac, it's hockey pool time and I'm sailing along with the lead and the only player I lost in the first round was that no hearted, over-rated, Commie Ovechkin, who I took with the first pick in the whole pool (15 contestants). I guess if I had taken Cindy Crosby I'd be so far ahead I'd spend the money already, lol. I have 4 Sharks, 4 Flyers and 3 Canucks so I'm hoping the Swedish Red Wings based out of Detroit go down like the dogs they are, sorry. This is a GREAT time of the year as play-off hockey is soooo much better than regular season stuff. Take It Easy....
PS Invent some side bet, on the Dead Wings - Sharks series and I'm game, lunch half way or something like that...

Good to hear from ya Mike,
for a side bet it would have to include the donut trailer at Volusia in February...too bad they parked that thing...Gaylor is still in withdrawal!!
I suppose we could meet in Windsor...
My Wings are playing the best hockey at the right time, hopefully it gets them deep in the playoffs...the Habs have to be tired from the Washington series. I am not sure if it is just me but I think the games have benn ureal this year???
I'll take the Wings in 6 over the Sharks, Thornton forgets it is the playoffs once again!!!

Dang, don't pick on local boy Joey, sheesh! I think a lunch in the Windsor area sometime in the not too distant future would work nicely, heck if Gaylor was available, even better. I am cheering against the original six teams left and I'm one of the few who can remember those days. No Wings, Hawks or Bruins for me. Take It Easy...

Mr. Nelligan has been heard from. Thought your computer didn't reach down here anymore. Just kidding. You all are lucky that you get to see the hockey games, they're on VS and I'm too much of a tight a** to pay the extra every month. Anyway, just to make it interesting, I will take the Hawks to pull off the huge upset for the whole thing, but what do I know. Good to hear that you are still kicking. Keep in touch.

PS - Say a prayer for Jack Miller!

The first line never scored in the first series either, hockey is a game of 4 lines and they all have to be playing well to win. Of course if you can talk God into playing goal in a few games for you like the Habs did it doesn matter who you play, Take It Easy...
Sweet Baby Mike (not James) it's nice to see ya', email me a phone number again & I'll ring....

9 more points in the pool from my boys Pavelski, Setogouchi, Boyle and Heatley, woo hoo! Heck, two hat tricks, three points on one goal, come on Philly and Van. Take It Easy....
PS It was nice of the Red Wings to pull their goalie in the first period for a minute and a half, lol...

I'm just posting here to identify myself as a Blackhawks fan in case they do something awesome so that I can brag about it later even though I'm not paying enough attention now to have an intelligent conversation about it. :-P

Ma'am, always nice to see you involved in something, heh heh. When Baby Bobby Hull switched to the WHA I switched to the Flyers who played a style I was more accustomed with. I think the Hawks can win Stanley's trophy when those kids have another year or two under their belt, but I've been wrong before, come on Canucks! Take It Easy...
PS A woman involved in intelligent conversation, is that an oxymoron, lol?

Oh sigh. It's like you don't know me at all.
I have much to say about one of those Bhawks "kids" but 1.) a lady shouldn't kiss and tell, and 2.) I should probably wait to see if he becomes a superstar before I give up on him. Girl needs a sugar daddy, right? I can't seem to find one at the race track and it's pretty obvious that I'm only attracted to men prone to head injuries, so hockey is naturally the next step.
