Am I wrong to assume that the date was moved to avoid a conflict with the Wagsdash at Ventura on Sept. 25? Either way, good to see the change happen.

Yes, that is why. And it just didnt make any sense to have 2 USAC races with 90 miles of each other.

Then why schedule aug. 7 at bakersfield when the 410s are at hanford that day

Hanford does not have CRA on Aug 7th

Chris is right. The old promoter at Hanford scheduled CRA on August 7th before he left. New promoters have Mods and Stock Cars on that night. It still shows on the USAC web site, but that race is not going to happen.
