Michael McCleskey, driver of the #43 modifid out of Lawton, and his wife Tonya Scott, both owners of On Another Level Designs, had a devestating house fire Saturday night and lost everything they owned. They also have a baby and all clothes and baby items were also lost.

Jane Burt of Enid is going to be setting up a recovery fund at the Bank of Oklahoma for those who want to contribute in the recovery fund. Jane, Chris Smith (NCRA) and myself will also be taking donations such as clothes and anything else you can contribute. More details will be released and posted here Monday.

If your in Lawton and know the McCleskeys please assist them in any way that you can. Any further questions either email me or call Chris Smith (918) 625-6200 or Jane Burt.

Thank you and thoughts and prayers for the McCleskeys.

Thanks David for getting this info up. I will try to set the fund up at The Bank of American instead of the Bank of Oklahoma in Lawton. I will post more info on this and drop off sites for clothes and household items on Monday. Clothing wise Tonya wears Med tops; 8 to 10 jeans; and 8 shoes. Michael is XL Shirts, 36 x 34 jeans and 12 shoes, Bristol is 10 monthsd old and is in 12 to 18 months and a 5 shoes. Anything that anyone can give will be greatly appreciated. Luckily had gone out to eat and were not home so no one was hurt. Thank you to everyone in advance who will be able to help in some small way.

Just talked with Michael and the family is doing fine under the circumstances. Making a trip down to Lawton tomorrow around 4:00 and if anyone wants to drop off any racing T's at Smileys they didnt sale last year in sizes XL and M I will take them with me. Baby cloths are 12 to 18 months but a $10 gift certificate from wallmart can work as well in an envolope with your name if you choose to do so. Lets dont let this Racing Family go with out Christmas, but times are tough and so is Michael. All they need right now are a few cloths, no furniture or food or anything else. Please no donations after 4:00 tomorrow cause Smileys dont even know their a drop off place for me to facilitate this.

If you cant do anything like that, "a prayer would be nice"!

JD

I spent all day yesterday trying to set up a special fund account at one of the banks in Lawton with no luck. I thought that would be an easy task, but I was wrong!

For those of you who have already done something. Thank You So Much!! You don't know how much these kids appreciate everyones support and they are so overwhelmed that anyone wants to help. Their greatest need at the moment is clothing and anything for the baby since his room was a total loss. They will have to wait on the insurance adjuster before they can go in and see where to go after that.

Anyone wanting to send something, and can't get it to Smileys before 4:00
today (Tuesday), can send your donation to Michael McCleskey 1905 NW Columbia St, Lawton, OK. 73507.

Lets at least make sure this baby boy has a great 1st Christmas! Even $5.00 in a card or a gift card. Anything will help. Nothing is too small - and it all adds ups. I know it is tight for a lot of people so even just sending them a card and let them know you are thinking of them and that they are in your prayers would be a great up-lift for them. So lets show them what the racing community is made of and can do for a fellow racer!

Thank you for your thoughts and prayers and anything you can do. With them owning "On Another Level Designs " you could even schedule an appointment to have them letter your race car for the next season.

Thanks again!!

Thanks OKC Racers, Santas on the way but couldnt do it with out the Elves. Cash, Clothing and Prayers are on the way. The response I got from OKC tells me we do pull together in times like this and should give us all hope!

Sorry it has taken us so long to say this but we have been taking care of insurance and all of that so havent had the time but we just recieved a car load from OKC and it was breathe taking!! The amount of stuff and the time put into it was absolutely a miracle in disguise!! We cant find the words to say for all of the gifts, kind words, prayers, and warm smiles! We are greatly appriciative of everything everybody is doing and has done it really shows just how people can come together in someones time of need. It has been really hard on us but the most important thing is we are all ok!!

We just wanted to say thank you for everything everybody has done!! again there is no word except absolutely amazing and gift from god that we have the support we do!!

A special thanks to Jane i hear she has been running ragged and we cant thank her enough for what she has done!!

And also thanks to OUR SPECIAL SANTA AND HIS ELVES!!! it brought tears to my eyes to see that him and his family drove here just to drop presents off and we are so thankful that we have your support!!

Thank You so MUCH again and know that what all of you have given even if itwas just a prayer it is greatly appreciated and we cant express how thank ful we are to have such a string racing community!!!

Happy Holidays and we will check in later!!

THANK YOU!!

We wanted to write a separate message for our second family in Ponca City, The McClaskeys. i don't know what we would do without them!! They were on the phone with me all night the night of the fire and were up early the next morning putting things together for us. Casey is the one who told jane about what had gone on and not even 12 hrs after the fire the response was more than we had ever imagined!! They are truly one in a million and we would be lost without them in our lives!!

THANK ALL OF YOU

Tonya, Michael and Bristol
