Hey Stan, Your'e always singing the blues about the cost of going to races that are important to you.
How could you pass up the Richert Memorial?
Don't you have a media pass(as a writer for a racing paper) that gets you free admission to some of these tracks??

I don't think Stan is going to stay away from the Richert Memorial, read the blog again,

Stan wrote, The Merc doesn't have a trailer hitch and the camper isn't licensed so camping at the Jerry Richert Memorial is up in the air.

You misunderstood me. I wouldn't miss that race but I'm still trying to figure out what I'm going to do about the camping. Trust me on this, if you ever get a neck fusion you won't want to sleep on the ground. Maybe I can pull the notorious Weenie Wagon out of mothballs. I'll figure something out before then.

Pitch a tent and come join us around the campfire.

Sorry about the misunderstanding, I couldn't imagine you missing that race. Will the UMSS cars be running with or without wings for that event?
I might join you around the campfire, but my tent days are behind me, I have a 2005 Ranger with a nice topper on it that I have slept in at some tracks that I have visited out of town.

Whenever you read my blog you have to keep in mind that it reflects the mood I'm in and what I'm thinking at the time. It's a personal blog and not to be confused with any articles I write for the racing publications.

The UMSS cars will be running with wings as there weren't enough drivers willing to try running without. It was an interesting idea but I don't think it's going to happen.
