I think next year they should just pay off there lease and shut the doors for a year! Then everyone can stop and think and plus drivers will save money by staying home.

The last two weeks they had two big money races in the area. The car count will be up next week. Modgirl stay home if your not happy with the track. If you have nothing nice to say just don't log on anymore.Support your local track....If your racing for the money give it up.

on one hand I understand that logic, but on the other hand I can't.

Enid looks to have fallen apart - and yeah maybe its not good PR for the track to say so, but its pretty obvious when their results look like that. It's almost half mad for someone to continue to pay to go see that. I'm not trying to down promoters, from what I understand they were put in a pretty tough spot - but might as well as well call it for what it is - it's not lookin good. To say if they don't like it to stay home - is probably not the wisest thing to say if you want to see that track to succeed - from what I gather - there are a lot of people already doing that (staying home/goin somewhere else).

We're all fans and if and when we go to a show and it sucks - aint nothin wrong with talkin bout it. It's not modgirl's fault that the place has fallen apart - you shouldn't jump her ass for pointing out the obvious. We're not all on here just to stroke each other and pat each other on the back - not talkin bout it doesn't change the fact that the quality of their show is extremely poor - or that many people seem to think so.

I cannot comment on the racing for the money part - but I will say that even as a fan I want to go where my money is best spent. And ironically, for pretty near the same admission one could go to other tracks and see 5 times as many cars - and being somewhat presumptious - probably better racing too.

btw - i dont know what "big money" races are being talked about either. And by all rights - what would that have changed? oh I get it - it would have doubled their mod count!!! from 3 to 6 lol.

Ive been to every race this year in enid and i havent ever seen it this bad in my over 20 years of being around this track. Its called a little to little too late. After you piss everone off for a couple of years and keep jacking up the rules people cant afford to race or dont wanna race at your track. Not even to mention the pit pass prices and $10 admission into the grandstands. Face it, the average Joe that comes to the races isnt Bill Gates or a Longpine(people with $$$$$)

I think maybe Lonnie has told one to many people if they don't like it they can go race somewhere else. There's more cars at wichita on a wednesday for practice than on a saturday at Enid. It say's alot when the people in Enid drive by the track on saturday heading somewhere else to race.

Maybe, if they lowered the price in the grandstand would help. One track last year let the driver in free if they drove over 80 miles.Maybe have a family night and some other specials. Hard times has hit the town in Enid along with the drama.

another idea would be drop the pitpasses back to 25.00 charge the drivers 30.00 but put the extra 5.00 into the points fund, and let the drivers that won the A features the previous week in for free.

Just seen another track doing this and it seems like a wonderful idea...

Well Lonnie and James are nice guys and i have nothing against them besides if you have a problem you try to fix it and if its that bad get out of it. Try to do things to get people back. Dont f over people like Mike Hoffman that has been out there for years promoting the track for free. Mike Hoffman and Jack Hammock have had a radio talk show just for our local track for ten years and they are worried about him paying a pitpass to get in. Thats stuff that makes people not wanna come out here. The list goes on and on but all there is for every problem is excuses. We all know what theyre like

Everybody is just wasting their breath, every time the word "Enid" is put on forum post the same stuff is always said. Apparently Lonnie and James arnt getting the clue. Nothing you say or do is gonna change anything. People have givin them great ideas on how to help bring the track back and here it is 4 months into the race season and nothing has changed. You all might as well give up. They apparently dont care what happens to their race track.
