Thursday, February 26th will be practice and registration. It is NOT mandatory that you be there -- just helpful. You can beat the Friday lines by getting registered on Thursday and if you haven't run the TMS Dirt Track before, any practice laps you can get will be helpful too.

The full modified payout looks like this:

And you can add two more spots to that A main. 25th and 26th will also pay $750 each. That comes from two TMS provisionals that will be drawn from the pre-entries (those who enter by Feb 15th!). That only costs $100 and you'll be guaranteed that much back as long as you race on Saturday.

Southern Sport Mod rules will be used for the Limited Modifieds. UMP has let theirs get out of hand in 2009.

Here are the paydowns for the Limited Modifieds (SIMS/Southern Sport Mods) at the TX WDTC:

And you can add two more spots to that A main. 25th and 26th will also pay $400 each. That comes from two TMS provisionals that will be drawn from the pre-entries (those who enter by Feb 15th!). That only costs $75 and you'll be guaranteed that much back as long as you race on Saturday.

ATTENTION MODIFIED and LIMITED MODIFIED racers planning on racing in the TEXAS WORLD DIRT TRACK CHAMPIONSHIP at THE TEXAS MOTOR SPEEDWAY Dirt Track:

It's time to PRE-ENTER! You have six weeks to get your entry turned in. (Feb 15th deadline) Not only will pre-entering save you money ($100 vs. $135 for Modifieds & $75 vs. $110 in the Limited Mods) but you are then elgible for one of two provisionals in each class (worth $750 each in the Mods and $400 each in the Limiteds) to be drawn from non-qualifiers that pre-entered ONLY.

Try right clicking and printing out this entry form below or go to http://www.texasmotorspeedway.com/DirtTrack.aspx for more information and an entry blank.

Of course I ain't racing BUT I will be there nonetheless.

Paris Motor Speedway is having a IMCA sanctioned race for mods and sport mods ($1000 to win for both) that same weekend and I had thought about being there Friday night then catching TMS on Saturday night since SUPR will join the mods and sport mods.
