Well it is the big time for this game. It will be on ABC at 7 Sat night. College game day will be in Stillwater as well.

Dang. I think ESPN should just travel with OU....lol gameday game two weeks in a row... it shows how big this OU team is. they straight up murdered tech last night. I just hope that they can do the same thing in stillwater saturday.. it is going to be a harder game for OU because OSU is going to be jacked and OU won't have that crazy loud crowed like last night.... but I still see OU on top.......Boomer Sooner

Where are these osu fans? Will one or two of you bring on a little wager here,Lets say looser buys lunch @ Rib Crib. This is the best chance osu has had to beat OU in many years.

I would have taken that bet before last night Steve but i dont even think Florida could beat them if they keep playing like they did last night.

I hate the damn bcs. Personally I don't think Alabama deserves to be in the top 5 let alone #1 and how does Florida jump OU and TX in the human polls after beating a high school team ( Citidale) and OU murders the #2 team in the land. Are people that prejudice to the SEC "soft" teams. I think bedlam will be a great game and I think it will be who has the ball last.

many things gotta go wrong for that score to happen lol.

like -say- OU defense not play like they did against a tech offense that is better than osu's. as well as an osu defense that isnt as good as tech's either - actually stop ou. but no team is perfect.

we havent really seen ou not execute. the only game where they got challenged - they lost. i wont make a preditcion in the very slightest. because anything literally and truly could happen in this bedlam matchup. lost of passionate rivalry games this week (upsets in the makin).

i wont predict this game because if anyone is able to stop ou from making it to big 12 championship game, it is the cowboys.

The sooners looked like a well oiled machine against tech but i also believe that was the first, time this year, that they played a full and complete game.

If there is one thing I know, during bedlam, anything can happen!!!!

Congrats to all of our state schools for having very good football seasons!!!

GO POKES!!!!!!!

Hey man, that pic looks like Tulsa Speedway. Is it?

I'm takin the Sooners also in this one. I believe they are finally playing to potential. Really, nobody has stopped them all season on offense. Texas being the only exception and they still scored 35 on them. Gotta give the special teams players koodos on they're play saturday night to. I gotta think the intensity to do well to be able to move on to the big 12 champ game is gonna be high. OU 45 OSU 20

I am not going to get into a pissing match about this game b/c I think it is going to be a good game. It will be slug fest. OSU has a far better run game than Tech and OSU's QB is alot more moblie than Tech's. This game will come down to the trenches and how it is played there. By the way OU is only favored by 7.

Here are a few stats from a fellow poke fan for you to chew on.

This will be their highest-ranked true road opponent since the 2001 Nebraska game. They are only 4-3 on the road against ranked teams since the 2000 NC season, and 0-2 against top 20 teams.

2008 - OSU (#11)
2007 - none
2006 - Oregon (#18, loss), Missouri (#23, win), Texas A&M (#21, win)
2005 - Texas Tech (#21, loss)
2004 - OSU (#21, win), Texas A&M (#22, win)
2003 - none
2002 - none
2001 - Nebraska (#3, loss)
2000 - Kansas State (#3, win), Texas A&M (#24, win)

Avg score in STILLWATER under Stoops: OU 26, OSU 25
Avg score in NORMAN under Stoops: OU 40, OSU 14

In response to a Ou fan on a OU message board. Also, from a fellow poke fan.

Let me take a shot at this. We have nothing against you personally. Hell bro, we all have tons of friends who are OU fans. That's great.

Thing is... there is nothing more condescending than the ou fan who "hopes OSU wins all their games but one." Seriously.

Again it isn't personal, but no real OSU fan would root for OU if they were playing Satan's All-stars with Adolph Hitler as team captain.

Ya see, it comes from growing up as an OSU fan. You are always in the minority and you always have to defend the team you like against the most inane slurs and slanders. This is a lifelong process until you actually GO TO OSU and earn a degree. At that point, you are no longer a "fan" you are an alum. And at that point, you have ownership to go along with your long-suffering patience.

Along this path, you deal with a vast disparity in the media. Now, sometimes this is an overt disparity and sometimes it's simply a quiet inequity of expectations. There's a sense of a natural balance in this state, and that involves keeping OSU #2. If you are a fan of OSU, that SUCKS.

So, with all due respect and again - no disrespect intended to you personally, but OSU fans... TRUE OSU fans... always and without exception root against OU.

Let me tell you a story from last weekend. I was eating a late lunch after "the walk" at the student Union at OSU. Everyone was watching the end of the OU/CU game on TV. And by everyone, I mean about 400 OSU fans.

When CU kicked the field goal - the one that ended the moronic talk of another OU championship before September was done, that crowd erupted into unanimous applause. It was an extremely festive atmosphere. Good times. It is that way. It was that way. It will always be that way.

Get used to it. Judge it if you need to, but know one thing. We do not need you to ever "hope OSU wins" or root for us in any way. It is neither welcome nor requested. We do not need your support. If it helps you feel like a bigger person, by all means support us in all but one game. Come to the games and have fun at the tailgates. But never expect us to reciprocate.

That's all.
