Jackpot Junction Tour next in action at Jackson Nationals JACKSON, Minn. (July 30) - With six different winners in as many events thus far, the Jackpot Junction Tour returns to Jackson Speedway Friday, Aug. 15, during the Jackson Nationals. IMCA KSE Racing Products Sprint Cars are part of the second night ĂŠNationals program. Pit gates will open at 4:30 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 5 p.m. Hot laps are at 7 p.m., with racing to follow. Grandstand admission will be $15 for adults $15 and $7 for kids ages 6-12; youngsters five and under get in free. Pit passes are $25. More information is available by calling 507 841 2450 The tour opened at Jackson in May, with Jay Rickert taking the win. He's since been followed to victory lane by Jason Tostenson, Jennifer Eriksen, Bill Johnson, Chris Graf and Shannon Eriksen. Tostenson tops the standings with four events left on the schedule, seven points better than Shannon Eriksen. Johnson and defending champion Jennifer Eriksen round out the top four. Weather permitting, the 100th event in tour history will be held Saturday, Aug. 30 at Arlington Raceway. The 12th annual series is at Redwood Speedway in Redwood Falls on Sunday, Aug. 31 before concluding Tuesday. Sept. 2 during the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals at Boone, Iowa, Speedway. |
