The Drivers Fund of Arizona along with Manzanita Speedway, ASCS, Mini Sprints and the Vintage Cars present a night of fun with our FANS July 4th and July 5th.
Come out to Manzanita and watch the races on Friday, July 4th and enjoy the firework show. ASCS and the Mini Sprints will be on the short track.
The ASCS returns on the half mile Saturday, July 5th, the Mini Sprints on the short track and the Vintage Cars will do an expedition. This will be a night to honor the famous Lealand McSpadden. Bring your family and friends to enjoy a night of fun to mingle with the drivers and crews. Manzanita Speedway will extend their happy hour from 4:00 pm to 7:30 pm. Hot Dogs will be $1.00 all night on both nights and Beer will be half price during happy hour. All race cars will be placed in the front parking lot from 4:00 to 5:30. During this time we will have two dunk tanks set up for you to dunk some of the drivers. We will also be having sack races and water balloon toss games. Winners of the sack races and water balloon toss games will get a chance to race a "Main Event" during intermission on the front straight away with one of the drivers. Lealand McSpadden will be our Grand Marshall for these events and will present a trophy to our winners. At 5:15 we will hold our pill draw and drivers meeting and invite our fans to attend. At 5:30 the cars will return to the pits and be on the track at 6:30.
Manzanita Speedway will also host a firework show and we will honor Lealand McSpadden throughout the night.

The pit gates open at 3:00 pm. July 5th. Drivers, please enter and exit through the turn four gate to present the cars.
I am seeking volunteers to go in the dunk tank after our drivers return to the pits. If you are interested, please call Gayle Davis at 623-680-2389.
