SHERIDAN TAKES 30-LAPPER AT THE PAS

March 8, 2008 - Perris, Calif...Danny Sheridan of Santa Maria., Calif. won Saturday night's 30-lap USAC/CRA Sprint race at Perris Auto Speedway, leading the final 13 laps in his Scott Sales Company/Pace Electronics Stinger/Chevy. He passed Cole Whitt on lap 18 and led the rest of the way to beat Nic Faas, Mike Spencer, David Cardey and Cory Kruseman.

Kruseman's finish kept him atop the series point standings going into this coming Saturday night's event at Manzanita Speedway in Phoenix, Ariz.

Spencer was the fastest Perris qualifier and is third in the new standings behind Levi Jones, who trails Kruseman by 43 points.

Sheridan is the fifth different feature winner in the first six USAC/CRA races this season.

Wow, Nic Faas did really well. That's so cool. It looks like he's for real. I wish that I had been there to see it. Congratulations to Danny Sheridan on the win.

Nic Faas was, indeed, very impressive Saturday. Not only did he qualify in the top ten, but he held off the likes of Spencer and Cardey for the whole main event. Another note: Is it possible for me to change my ROY pick from Pombo to Faas? LOL, just kidding, I know that I can't do that.

Danny Sheridan congratulations, not only for the win but the fact that not one of the shall we say "fans" who have bashed you in the past had one negative word to say about this win, not a peep.

Maybe the Copper was a milestone.
