How do you prep your track?

Tired of Larson winning and you want a home town team to win.

Tell your home teams to step up their game and beat him on the track!

I really like the Trophy Cup at Tulare format where the fast guys start in the back and get passing points! I am sure this would be the most exciting type of race to watch and Kyle would still have a chance to win each night. I bet he misses not being able to race in the Trophy Cup in October because it conflicts with his Nascar schedule.

Looking forward to the new Golden State King of the
West series schedule!

Qualifying is equal, so nothing you can do there to handicap him.    I think you have to prep for rubber around the tires where no one can get out of line and hope he gets a bad dash draw.  Everyone will finish where they start, so if he starts in the back of the dash, he'll finish there.  Then he'll start several rows deep in the A and finish there.  But if he gets a good dash draw.....

So realistically, he wins on a decently prepped track, no matter where he starts.  To try to keep him from winning, have terrible track prep and hope he has bad luck.

Terrible track prep and a terrible feature is the only way.   That is not exactly a formula for business success either.  Someone suggested inverts for heats with passing points----my favorite format.  However, this would only guarantee him the win each night.   He's going to win 50% or better of the sprint car races he shows up at and there's really nothing anyone can do about it.  No amount of equipment or motor is going to matter for the competition.  If the track is not lock down fast or one lane, he's coming to the front, no way around it.  If there are boo-birds, they are a very small minority.  I get the sense that most in the stands really enjoy the chance to see him do what he's doing.   (with the exception of maybe a few from the Commonwealth of PA)

I agree.  While Kyle might not need the pile of cash, he is a racer, not running for points and likes the challenge.

You build the track high banked and narrow, back in the 50's. Then you put a concrete wall around the place. Have Kyle smack the wall like he did last year at Husets and take himself out of the feature.

Prep the track normal and when he wins rig the scales to make sure he is light going across Smile. Then you get to watch all the lovers and haters go insane at the false controversy. Then you come out about a week later and admit to the scales being off then you get to hear all the conspiracy theories fly.

I could not find it, but did I see on here that he has won 1 in 7 or 1 in 9 outlaw races this year? It seems having the outlaws at your track gives increases the odds  that he won't win

At this point I'd bet that the stands are packing with fans who just want to see this phenom WIN, and see how long it goes on.

What track promoter has time to even think about things like this?

Why would the track promoter even care who wins?

Worrying about how to prep a track to keep one certain individual from winning. This kind of thinking is just flat out hilarious.

I think a promoter would be happy with the extra tickets sold simply for him to show up. The promoter wins even if Kyle doesn't. But since we live in a world where dishonesty is a social skill, promote it as a back row challenge., 10,000  if Kyle wins from the back. Then put a bounty on him and pay any driver 10,000 if they beat him. Costs nothing extra but sells tickets cause most people wont even see the trick.

Even though I may not know you, I
care what most of you think!

Find a way to disqualify him, rigging the scales or something else.
