Four Outlaw provisionals last night. Thought 2 was the limit so I learned something new. Should have just let Sides race too.

I think the rev has been there before.  When experience has shown you what the results will be and you expect something different, isnt that the way crazy people think?

Who cares about that.....it is more about the format than anything else.  The worst format in sprint car racing!

The feature was great and the track was great all night....I give the track crew an A++ for that surface.  Fast at the beginning of the night and the last chance and the feature we had cars all over the track multiple grooves for racing.  It was not single file that can happen when it is way too dry cars playing huggy the bottom for the feature.

I hope the track surface is a repeat of last night.......

There was actually a lot of good racing behind the leaders. The WoO format rewards speed in time trials and those same guys who were fast in time trials, carried it over to their heats. Just the way it goes sometimes.

Wrong as usual. Reutzel In the dash draw said that he had to work on timing well because the Outlaws reward that.

He was making a distinction from the 2 races he won at the Grove earlier in the year when he didn’t time as well but the format rewarded that (All Star format). Reutzel won from the pole( or very near there) because most grove shows are won from there. Format has nothing to do with it.

I was dead on about the track conditions and the racing.  Tonight not as good of racing...... track started out too dry. The outlaw format is the worst for the heats.  Heads up starts equals horrible racing.

As far as Aaron he said that but it still doesn't make the format any better.

Oh boy.... you're really stuck on your track prep theories

I wasn't here Friday, but from reading results, sounded like very little passing... every race except D won from pole....

Hardly any passing in the heats Sat. nite, but A Main was good...several passes for the lead, Monteith from 26th to 8th, Schuchart from 25th to 14th.  Battle at 3, 4 & 5 between Ruetzel, Gravel & Freddy Jr. was excellent

Whattaya want awready????

Hey now, take it easy on Strawser. No one knows more about track prep than a guy who has been to Williams Grove once all year.  Not to mention his expertise in Port Royal track prep that comes from all the internet viewing.

The track was great Friday and we saw a great feature with cars running multiple grooves thoughtout the feature.  The heats were not much.  But they never are when you go to an outlaw race.

Saturday track was slow and only had one groove in the feature.  Track prep was lacking and it showed in last nights feature. It was wore out halfway through the heats.   It is not hard to figure.  Nobody cares about the heats.  I would rather see a good feature anyday over mediocre heats.

Port rarely gets it right.....track is always wore out before the features almost every night.

Now, now....Strawser says it's so, it has to be true no passing dammit.  26th to 8th you say, Strawsers says NO PASSING!!!!! I said it before, I'll say it again, no one knows more about track prep while attending almost no races than the mighty BStrawser.  At least he is comedy gold, if nothing else.

He got a fair amount of those cars from dropouts.  How many cars did he pass in the last 20 to 25 laps?

Saturday was slot car racing with very little passing.  Horrible racing conditions with NO cushion.  Bring back the cushion!

Friday was great in the feature.....cars all over the track racing and battlng.  Saturday it was mostly get in line and follow the train.....I mean car in front of you.  That by far was the worst race I was at all year and I was at Selinsgrove for the very scarry fast Jim Nace Memorial.
