I made the circle for all four races this weekend best show by far was at Port hope they do the same next year .Lincoln was ok for a day track and Baps just ok.
Think Baps should go back to the week after World Finals was always a good show.
I feel real bad for the Promters at Selinsgrove and the Group promoting the World Series heard the speedster race was great but all other car counts and Fan turnouts were dissapointing.
Dont know what Selinsgrove can do 360 not working ,410 only come for All Stars and Speedweek Late Models fading fast.

What Selinsgrove needs to do is make the track smaller. Make it a wide, high banked 3/8. The racing and car counts will be better. 360/358 teams are mostly low budget. They don't want to run on a big motor track where they have no chance against the big budget teams. They also need to get the local teams, sponsors and fans to support their local track. The outer pit area was a great improvement and the surface was pretty good most of the time this year but apparently that wasn't enough. The current promotional team (and the one prior) do very little to promote. No advertising or talking to teams, just open the gates and turn the lights on. Assume evryone will be there.

I thought Lincoln was really good. Don't know where the fans were on a pretty fall day, I think the diehards are dying off, the place use to be full with snowflakes flying. AS far as day racing goes, i think its just as good as any night race i seen at Grove this yr and was home by 6pm, Enjoyable day!!! P.S. NO DAMN TIME TRIALS!!!

Personally, Selinsgrove is one of my favorite tracks. Just wish it was a little closer for me. The sheer speed of the place is worth the 4 hour round trip. One of the best races I saw this this season was the Jim Nace Memorial All Star show which Ryan Smith won. That being said the track was leased to Rich Tobias for the World Series. The idea was a good one, but maybe the wrong time of the year......the problem might also have been that they didn't hold a Speedstr race all year in that part of the state and they were asking fans to pay $28 on Saturday to see the Speedstr's, 360 Sprint cars & Dirt Late Models when a normal Saturday night show of 360's, DLM's, & Street Stocks is $15. Even though the Speedstr's were paying $10K to win, the average regular fan did not see the value. Another complaint were a few of the classes had to be there for two days......On top of that, they were charging $40 for pit passes and $40 to $80 for camping.......Again a great concept, but it apparently did not work out. By the way, moving the pits outside the infield was money well spent.
