It's gonna keep changing right up to race time.  You know how that weather can be in the mountains.  I've been there before in a downpour when it was a 10% chance of precipitation, and I was at one of the Dream races like four or five years ago when it said 90% chance of rain, and it never rained a drop.  For me, tomorrow has a 50% chance or rain starting at 11pm.  Tonight looks iffy.... Mother Nature is a real "see you next tuesday" this year.

Sunday is a washout though.... I think the remnants of that tropical storm are making their way into the area.

We are keeping an eye on the weather.  Keep in touch with ASCoC and/or Port Royal social media tomorrow.  We MIGHT bump up the start time pending weather forecasts in the morning.

Congrats Logan!!

I guess if you run their all year and don't win the points it would have to be disappointing!! Oh well maybe next year Greg.  Keep running from the big races at other Saturday night tracks.  It paid off this year for you.

Gonna be close but hopefully they have the presence of mind to cut out all the unnecessary ceremonial stuff such as the hour long driver intros they did last year and keep the show moving. It would also be a good idea to do the redraw up in the pits as that would save a good bit of time too. Running an efficient show has been an issue for them in the past but there has been noticeable improvement in that area this year. I'm hoping they can do it. Either way, I'll be there enjoying one of the best events of the year hoping we stay dry.

That was a rough ride for both Hodnett and Reutzel. Glad they were all ok. When the 91 swerved over into Montieth, I cringed because I knew what was coming. I've been going to Port all my life and I've seen more bad crashes in that area of the track than I can even remember off the top of my head and most of them started just like the one tonight did. Tough break for Hodnett to go through all that just to bring out the back up car and have it not fire thus handing the championship that had all but locked up over to Wagner.

I would say the worst one I saw was when Esh was in the 8H and got knocked into that inside tire and bounced back onto the track and collected Mike Wagner and a few others. Wagner ended up jumping in Logan's car and breaking a vertebrae later in the night, costing him a championship.

Caleb Helms also had a big crash down there a couple of years ago as well.

Logan would know... he ran all of the races this year while Hodnett skipped one for the 360 Nationals at Knoxville. No hating on Logan, he did what he had to do to win the title. Congrats to him. You are simply ignorant.

Seriously, how miserable is your life that you live to rip on a track that you never go to...

Plus you also rip a driver, and his team, because they don't race at the tracks you want them to.

I have no clue why I'm wasting my time with you. I think I'm gonna go back to ignoring your dumb ass.

Like I said facts are on my side. Your only defense is to call names.

I also want to give the track crew a big thumbs up.

The last few weeks the track crew at Port has done a GREAT JOB!  Track has been fast with lots of passing.  If they keep that up you may see me at the 2 day outlaw show in October.   Thanks for bringing the excitement back to the Juniata county oval.....lets hope it continues.   Excluding Labor day....I hate all daylight racing no matter what track it is at.

I have been to Port many of times.  2 years ago I was there a good bit.  Last year I went once and that was the night most cars were running high 18 to 20 second laps in time trials and I vowed I wouldn't go back until they got the track surface fixed.

They just might bet turning the corner.....again GREAT JOB on the track surface!  With the rain they did a GREAT JOB!

Last 2 Labor day shows been GREAT!! Rather see racing than high speed freight train. Could care less about track times.

I agree with moving the show along. Forget the fluff. Just race. Not sure if they have any other division running but that coujld be canned as well. Not sure why tracks have to bring more divisions in for big races. Just run a good efficient show.

Totally disagree.  Labor Day racing and slicked out no watered down totally sucks.  Last night racing was FANTASTIC!  Big contgrats to Freddie!  Super nice dude!!  High speed and lots of passing down thru the field.  Also big congrats to Logan on the track title.  Another super, super nice guy.  He, Freddie, Flick & Resser to name a few are super nice, friendly will take to you anytime, anywhere.  Not like some of these stuck up, arrogant, big headed dirvers who think they are that and a bag of chips.

I didn't rip him at all.  He was trying to win a championship and he came up a little short.  He got second to Logan.  HE CHOSE NOT TO GO TO PORT the week of the 360 Nationals if the Ports track championship was that important to him maybe he should have went to a lower paying race at the Port instead of the bigger race at Knoxville.....like he did everytime Lincoln had a higher paying race.   I am happy for Logan and nothing against Hodnett.....I wanted Logan to win the title and he did.
