been going to trophy cup for many years. remember when it was a single day race @ kings speedway, then a 2 dayer with maybe 35 or so cars. but this race really kicked it into high gear when it moved to thunderbowl. have watched it grow to the frenzy that it is now. the list of winners, day, kent, stidham, bk, tk, wild child, to sweet, croft, larson, golobic & too many to recall makes it a bucket lister for racers and fans. my 2 cant-miss races, gold cup & t. cup used to be in that order, but t. cup has surpassed chico in a big way. best trophy cup memories, 2 of them; sammy spinning donuts in the infield when he thought he won, but sweet knew the real outcome, and of course sweet & larson taking it into turn 4 last lap knowing winner takes it all, & kyle rides off into the nascar sunset t_cup is right. dont want to miss this one

While I agree that the race is awesome, I can't remember one only have 35 or so cars, it used to consistently knock on the door to 100 in San Jose, and even drew pretty well at Watsonville and Kings, and would probably be right back up there car count wise without the entry cap.
