Let's go on a positive note here and see what you like about your local race track, or a track that you've been to that did something unique or noticed something about the track that you really liked.
My "home track" is Knoxville and often think those who attend are really spoiled by all the good things the track does. One thing I really like is that it seems each year, updates /upgrades are made.

One good thing that Husets had going for it was have Hot Rod Pattison do color commentary from the pits. When you have some downtime it's good entertainment to hear from the guys and gals putting in the effort to entertain us.

Living in Pennsylvania, I feel fortunate that the tracks in Central Pa continue to upgrade their facilities every year. Port Royal, BAPS, Lincoln, Selinsgrove and Williams Grove are all tracks that I would be proud to take a first timer, and my wife to see a race. The other thing is their admission prices for a regular show have been affordable for many years. I grew up in New Jersey, and although the Big Block Modifieds still have a place in my heart, both Bridgeport & New Egypt Speedways charge $20 most weekends for a regular show.

tulare thunderbowl. though track prep has lacked a few times, steve faria does a great job with the facility, puts on some good events eg; peter murphy classic, trophy cup to name a couple, & upgrades things like front stretch catch fence, speaker system, etc...i would think most central coast race fans as well as many drivers & teams would agree. larson calls it his favorite track!

To add to this, I often tell people to just eat at the track in Knoxville. It's affordable, good, and I like their weekly specials.
