2 seasons left of racing at Western Springs after the local Council has decided to spend millions of dollars of shuffling around and relocating a few different sports categories to different venues. There is to be a new track to built out near the airport as a replacement to the Springs but fears are that it wont by the time they are required to vacate Western Springs.

If you are planning on getting here one day NW, the best time to come is for the International Midget Series over Xmas/New Years. Can get 5 nights of racing in over 10 days which includes winged 410s on all 5 nights as well, 4 nights at the Springs, a trip to the red clay of Baypark Speedway and a few rest days in between racing to travel and do the tourist thing.
