Wish I could go, or watch. How often has USAC and WOO been racing at the same track, the same night?

This is maybe the 3rd year of them doing this at Eldora.  Before that, it very rarely happened, if ever.

I went the past 2 years. Same story both times......typical asphalt Outlaws surface, leaving the non wing cars to have to crawl around it. Saved my money instead  this year for Eastern Storm and Indiana Sprint Week.

Justin Grant just said in his interview the track is slick and up top just like they like it. So guess the non wing guys must like it now also.

I went last year. It was awesome but it was also my first time at Eldora. I loved the mix of wings and no wings. One night was dry slick and the other actually pretty heavy. Quick times the one night weren't as slow as some people said it would be with the new banking. Ballou even alluded to in his post race interview after he won that the track was as close to the old Eldora as it had been in a long time. (Kind of a compliment kind of an insult) Anyways long story short the racing both nights was really good and the next chance I have to go to the let's race two weekend I will do again in a heartbeat. Seeing a race won on the bottom of Eldora was weird but you have to admit there were multiple lanes people could run. I was just happy to see sprints at the big E. We (myself included with Knoxville) are so spoiled sometimes to actually see how good of thing we actually witnessing. It may be different from of old but it's still a very high quality show. Don't skip out if you have a chance to go.

Does anyone know where Eldora got its name?

Even though I may not know you, I
care what most of you think!

The name comes from the Elodra Ballroom that was originally on the site when Earl bought it and built the track.

There's still a big ballroom there but I don't think they use it. They should!

I haven't been to this show, but an Indiana friend of mine who's a hardcore wingless guy said it was one of the best shows he saw all last year. I would love to go but have other things going on....
