6th Annual LONESTAR SPEEDWAY SUMMER $IZZLER – SUNDAY, MAY 27th

The Sunday of Memorial Day weekend has been a popular race date on the LoneStar Speedway schedule for several years, and this year’s holiday event will be jam packed full of racing action. The big LoneStar Modifieds, Factory Stocks, Limited Modifieds & FWD 4-Cylinders are all competing for excellent purse money and points.
But that’s nowhere near the end of the full night of racing scheduled:
The TWMA vs. ALTWMA Shootout will feature the best Winged Modifieds of the region, and those teams will compete in a complete program of heat races and championship feature. Visit www.texaswingmodifiedassociation.com for complete Series information.
And May 27th marks the first ‘LoneStar Speedway Championship’ of 2018, which are four individual nights that feature a LSS division racing for big money and the championship title.
On Sunday May 27th it will be the Front Wheel Drive 4-Cylinders turn, and their championship event will be $500 to the winner (with $50 just to start!), so you can expect to see lots of drivers from across the region trying to take this big prize and the spoils back home at the end of the night.

July 14th - $2,000/win LoneStar Limited Modified Championships
August 18th - $1,500/win LoneStar Factory Stock Championships…details at the track website.
BACK TO MAY 27th…you and the family will be able to take in this massive event for just $15 adult (ages 12-64) general admission! Ages 6-11 are just $5, while Seniors/Military GA pricing is $12. All pit passes for all ages are $35. Any grandstand ticket can be upgraded to the Reserved Section with bucket seats for $5 per ticket.
FAMILY-SIZED BONUS! We’re continuing our popular FAMILY PASS for this event, where two adults plus up to FOUR kids (ages 11 and under) can get in for just $30 (the price of two adult tickets)…a savings of potentially $20!

Specifically, if you are on I-20 (either direction) take Exit 583 and head north to the 4-way stop light (about 1/2 mile). Go east (right) about 1 mile and you will see the track entrance on the south (right) side of the road. The LoneStar Speedway racing divisions will all be racing for excellent purse money: Modifieds will be racing for $1,200 to win, the Limited Modified winner will take home $700, while the first Factory Stock to cross the checkers will receive $500. The Winged Modifieds are racing for their Series purse. The FWD 4-Cylinders will round out the 5-division racing card, racing for $500 to win. FACTORY STOCK FEATURE PAYBACK: $500 - $300 - $200 - $180 - $160 (5th) - $140 - $120 - $100 - $80 - $80 - $60 - $40...to 20th. All Factory Stock NQ's or Non-Starters $20. Transponders and RACEceivers are required.
LIMITED MODIFIED FEATURE PAYBACK: $700 - $400 - $300 - $220 - $200 (5th) - $180 - $160 - $140 - $120 - $100 - $80 - $60...to 20th. All Limited Modified NQ's or Non-Starters $30. Transponders and RACEceivers are required.
LoneStar FWD 4-Cylinder Championships: $500 - $300 - $200 - $150 - $100 - $90 - $80 - $70 - $60 - $50...to 20th. RACEceivers required.
No outside food/drink allowed through ticket gate. Great food and drinks available at family-affordable pricing, for example, bottled water and soft drinks are available starting at $1.50. Adult beverages for sale next to main concession stand.
The Pit Area on May 27th will open by 4pm (teams can arrive earlier, if desired, but we'll clear out pits just prior to opening), Grandstands open at 5pm, Draw Cut-off 6pm, Pit Meeting 6:30pm, then Track Packing/Hot Laps...with racing to follow immediately. Races should fire off by 7:15-7:30pm.
Again, Grandstand admission: Ages 5 and under are free (with adult admission), Ages 6-11 are just $5, and Ages 12-64 are $15. Seniors/Military $12. You can upgrade any grandstand admission ticket to the reserved section (bucket seats) for $5/ticket upon your entrance to the reserved section. All Pit Passes all ages are $35.
