I was recently in AZ. Spent a small amount of time looking for tracks and found the one in Queen Creek on my 2nd last day there. Since I got home I've noticed I think 3 in the Phoenix area that race sprints.
How many sprint car tracks are in this area and are there really enough sprints to keep 3 or more going? Seems like overkill to me from this distance. Do some drivers prefer a certain track or certain santioning body to not have everyone show up at the same track on tje same night?

The Phoenix metro area has 3 dirt tracks.
Arizona Speedway in Queen Creek is located in the far East Valley on Ironwood Rd off the Superstition Fwy.
Canyon Speedway Park is located in the far NW valley off AZ 74
Central Arizona Speedway is located in Casa Grande, SW of the Phoenix metro area.
There are 3 different classes of sprint cars that rotate between the tracks.
1. USAC 360ci SouthWest Sprints (non wing)
2. ASCS 360 Southwest Region (winged sprints)
3. NAPA 360ci sprints which is a less HP class of non wing sprints.
Arizona Speedway is the track near my house and for most shows there you have around
18-20 USAC/ASCS car counts and around 16 or so for the NAPA sprints.
Arizona Speedway also hosts the Western World championship in November which draws
USAC 410ci national teams and USAC/CRA 410ci teams from California.
From what I've heard Arizona Speedway is the favorite track of most drivers as it is a wide
high banked fast 1/3 mile.
