Let me start off by saying.  I am a huge fan of this race.   I try to go as many years as I can fit it into my schedule.  I know a lot of people put countless hours into making this race what it is.   It is a fantastic event.  It is a good thing for the city of Tulsa and business and the economy there,   That being said I realize it is a choice to go into that building to watch.   I feel it is also the responsibility of the people that take our money to attend this event to at least try and create a safe environment to watch this race.  On both Friday night and Saturday night there was a Carbon Monoxide meter that had a reading of 180 ppm (over 70ppm is dangerous) for over most of the evening.   On Saturday night I saw a man have a seizure.   I don't know if it was from the fumes or if it was something else.   The man was tended to by other people at the race and security but it  took 15 minutes for actual medical people to get to him.   For a facility with this many people in attendance.  This is unacceptable.   My last rant.   If you are a parent.  You are out of your mind bringing an infant to the Chili Bowl. I could not believe how many babies and pregnant women I saw there this year.   I'm not sure what the age should be but they need to make this decision for parents that are too stupid to figure it out on their own.   These parents are doing damage to their kids developing bodies is wrong and they shouldn't be allowed to do it.
