Hi all,
Does anyone know where I would find information about Sprint Car bolt tensions?
A guy has told me to make sure that when I check the torsion arms etc to be careful as over tight is not good either.
He said if they don't have a nut like most arms, approx 22ft lbs and they can be a fraction tighter (25ft lbs) if they have a nut.
Anyone have a list or know if there is a list of these available? Was the guy right with the tensions he gave me?
Thanks in advance,
Sopa

About bolts & torque Id look at manufactures websight for bolts & see if you can find the numbers you need or go to a web sight for torque wrenches usually they provide info r/e bolt spec torque in a given material also talk to the other mechanics that work on sprint cars REMEMBER THERE ARE NO DUMB QUESTIONS
