What was the lastest news from the All Star banquet with only two drivers confirmed for next year on I B  RACING AND Blaney gone for the Zemco car and Kemmaugh looking at a true Outlaw schedule they will defenitely need some new faces along with most of last years group back..

So far only Max Stambaugh and Caleb Helms.

The Hunter team will be back.

Almost all of the teams at the banquet last night indicated they would like to run it again next year. When it's all said and done they'll have as many if not more cars on tour I think.

Kory Crabtree said he was running full time again. I think I read Brandon Matus is looking to run full time. I thought TJ Michael was planning it again.

I also saw Hunter Racing post they were looking to change it up this year.

I would assume Cap Henry, Lee Jacobs and Sheldon Haudenscheld will be back as well.

Has anyone heard about Kraig Kinser or Holtgraver?

Wouldn't doubt with Blaney and the Big Game car gone, that other drivers might feel as though there is a better chance of some wins. May indeed draw some more cars.

Heard a bunch of people at Lincoln talking about Jordan and Hunter Mackison both possibly running the full All-Star tour in 2017.....guess time will tell.

Anyone heard if they are making the Florida races point paying for the championship? Last couple of years they have not. Den included which I think helps with the amount of full time followers.

Also saw Brandon Matus on Twitter mention he plans on running full All Star schedule.  With him and Carl Bowser racing elsewhere Lernerville's gonna struggle weekly with 410s (not car count wise, but the number of quality cars).

I wouldn't assume on Little Haud just yet...rumors on here (credit SpcJay) that he was at least considering/investigating/looking at running WoO.

All quiet on the Holtgraver front but unless something dramatically changes I assume he'll be on the tour again given he's a "veteran" at this point having been on tour for what 4 or 5 or so years.

Don't worry about any name dropping. I was wondering if Kraig would run with the All Stars myself, so i appreciate the update.  Thanks.

Caleb Helms, TJ Michael, Caleb Armstrong, Chad Kemenah, Brandon Matus, and Lee Jacobs are the only definates i know of as of now.  Not sure what is going on with the following, Cap Henry (heard he didnt want to travel anymore), Danny Holtgraver (heard a couple different things about him), Andrew Palker (undecided), Kory Crabtree (undecided, yes i know he said earlier that he was, but that has changed), Sheldon Haudenschild (rumors of going outlaw racing), Kraig Kinser (havent heard anything there).  Like someone else said earlier, i also heard that the Mackison boys were gonna follow this year.

In the meeting at PRI, it was mentioned that they had 20 cars comitted, but talk is cheap, so we will see.  Im sure there will a few more names pop up, and im sure it will all hinge on the Florida races being for points.  The way the meeting ended was, if you run all 3 nights at Ocala, then go home, you will still get show up points for Volusia.  Also, they did say they were planning on doing away with the Florida shows starting next year.

When i asked his dad about it, he told me otherwise.  Who really knows.  Max Stambaugh even said he was riding the wave as long as it lasts.  Read into how you want.  We will all find out when Florida rolls around (if they make it points).

I see both sides of the points issue. The people making the investment and comitment to go down there want to get the reward for doing so, and the people unable to go so far out of their geographic home base don't want to essentially be penalized. I personally think they should not be points races, but my opinion doesn't count  wink

Thanks for all the reples heard earlier that Sheldon was thinking about the Outlaws, saw a story where Jac would like to race even more than he did last year.

If I remember right last year alot of the regulars left after Bubba  and alot did noy go to Florida at all and the 33 was supposed to be a regular last year but changed  mind car has not been to PA. in the past that I know of Mackisons made alot of races in Ohio last year but only Lincoln at home

Hope they can keep most again 20 seems like a stretch..

As of now the 81 team is waiting to see what happens with points and Florida.  I am a school teacher and am unable to go to Florida, so if they make it points it doesn't make sense to start behind the 8 ball when they come back to Ohio.

Looks like there will be 30 drivers hitting the All Star circuit next year, but as usual most will be "hit and miss", run races in their area.  Most drivers mentioned will not run the full All Star circuit.  It's funny but in the past (and present) when a couple drivers leave the WoO its the long-prayed-for and wished-for (on hoseheads) death knell for them but when  drivers leave the All Star series its good for the series (on hoseheads), will bring new drivers looking for the "big" cash.

Lawlessness and liberalism equals Hell. NY City,
Detroit, Seattle, Chicago, Minnepolis, etc. We saw it.
Burning hundreds of buildings, a thousand assaults and
dozens of murders. Getting worser and worser.

That's the inherent bias of the board. Some folks have been predicting the end of the WoO since the early 2000s.
