C'mon BRR, cut the dude some slack!   Wins the Cup race at the highest speed track they race on only two weeks after going 20th to 5th at the Nationals.    Didn't see anyone from the posse in the top 5 at Knoxville did we?   Hodnett was 8th but he's from Memphis, so he doesn't count as posse!

What an asshole statement.  You should be glad he came to PA to race in his career.  It is probably the only time you will ever get to see him in person.  I'm sure you don't travel.

Congratulations Kyle!

Did he mention BC in interview?

Good news for Larson & team, but bad news for dirt track fans? If he didn't make The Chase, would that have freed him up for more dirt racing? Not sure how NASCAR works...

I agree with you about  "cutting the dude some slack", congratulations to a GREAT race car driver

But Hodnett has been racing in Pa. for 18 years, I think that qualifies him as Posse

They don't.........but that's the point. At least cali drivers make the jump. Larson, clauson, reddick, sweet, kaeding, abreu, gordon, to name a few.

First time in a long time I have jumped up and down during the last 10 laps of a Sprint Cup race!  Have been pulling for him for 3 years in Cup.  However, this win means even more to me.  I get in a Nascar auction every year at my local bar.  You should have seen the eye rolls in the joint when I bid Larson up at the end and took him for the amount we took him for.  (we live in an area where no one knows open wheel dirt racers)  No more eye rolls next year.  If he performs the last 10 races the way he has the last two years, I could have made the steal of the league!

Go Kyle!!!!

Nah, Hodnett's a Memphis boy.   I was watching him 18 years before that (maybe a small exaggeration).   Watched his dad race too.   The car's out PA for sure and it's a damn good one.   Driver will always one of our Memphis guys, just like Sammy, Jeff, Ricky, Hooker, Bobby, and others...

Young Kyle grew  up around one of the greatest. This win is no surprise to me.
