The MOWA race at Farmington, MO last Saturday had a good turn-out of cars and fans. However, the race had numerous cautions and re-starts plus there was lots of confusion about the rules. On restarts, the MOWA officials seemed to always put the local cars back a number of spots while moving up their regulars. I heard from 3 drivers that said they got moved back in the line-up for NO reason. The Farminton track draws 24-30 quality cars per night and their officials do a really good job!! I encourage people to attend a nightly event at Farmington.

Could it be the locals don't understand the MOWA rules? Do they go to last completed lap (by the field), split yellow (those by the flagstand maintain position, those not go to last completed lap).
I've seen drivers throw a hissy fit over being put behind cars before (even at tracks with transponders or where there was no question about a driver being in front of them the lap prior).
I wouldn't hold that against any track. Happens in pretty much every division of racing (even NASCAR).

We raced at Farmington last sat night, but with the WAR series, only cmplaint I had was the time the races got over with LoL. But i understand that with the amount of cars they had, 35 wing and 21 non wing cars. We would go back to Farmington and race anytime. And the War series is great, Just wished they raced more closer to home. Casey has a good thing going. Be nice if WAR and MOWA were together on the card more, great field of cars for the fans. And I didn't hit my head once on the wing all night!

Yes the MOWA show was a great show. One of the best car counts for MOWA for the year. Like to see them back a couple times next year. Farmington seems to have turned the corner on weekly car count. Averaging around 25 cars for a regular weekly show is pretty good. There's another 10-15 cars that float in and out in addition to the regulars. Adding the non wing WAR cars was also a good addition. Looking forward to the 2 day NSL show at the end of the season. If I remember correctly they had 45 cars last year. ASCS National cars also running later this year as an added show to the regular 410 show. So some good shows coming up.
