Lonnie Wheatley, ERIE, Colo. (September 2, 2007) – Nick Haygood notched his second American Sprint Car Series Rocky Mountain Region asphalt win in as many tries by topping Sunday night's 20-lap feature at Colorado National Speedway.
After setting the standard in qualifying with a fast time of 14.02 seconds, Haygood raced from the sixth position in the feature event and overtook early pacesetter Kyle Rayburn on the sixth round.
Haygood cruised out front the rest of the way in the non-stop event that took less than five minutes to complete, with Rayburn, Josh Fellows, John Gerloff and Scott Milan rounding out the top five.
