Advance Auto Parts World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series Adds Three Events to 2008 Tour Schedule

CONCORD, NC - March 21, 2008 - Three more events have been added to the 2008 Advance Auto Parts World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series tour.

The series will head Thursday, July 3, to Huset's Speedway in Brandon, S.D., in a Midwest tune-up for the Month of Money. Then, the winged warriors will return Friday, Aug. 1, to Wilmot Speedway as part of a Wisconsin double-header with previously scheduled Charter Raceway Park on Saturday, Aug. 2, in Beaver Dam. The third addition to the schedule comes during the Third Annual Gold Rush Tour through the Northwest with the Outlaws making their return Tuesday, Sept. 2, to racy quarter-mile Cottage Grove Speedway in Cottage Grove, Ore.

"Each of the three tracks we have added to the 2008 schedule provide great racing," said Series Director Carlton Reimers. "Huset's Speedway is a home away from home for several teams and we're excited it has a significant presence on our schedule, and the last time we raced at Wilmot there was a three-car battle for the checkered flag that had everybody on their feet. Of course, Cottage Grove has been a big part of our West Coast tour and everybody knows how fast the action happens on a quarter-mile oval so that will once again be another exciting night."

Events previously scheduled for Route 66 Raceway in Joliet, Ill., and Manzanita Speedway in Phoenix have been removed from this season's tour.
