FINAL IMCA MODIFIED WINTER CHALLENGE SERIES RACING ALONGSIDE THE 22nd ANNUAL DWARFCAR.COM NATIONALS…

PEORIA, Ariz. (Feb. 15) – The 2011 Modified Winter Challenge Series at Canyon Speedway Park has been exhilarating. The final two shows are fast approaching after four straight weekends of double-header IMCA modified day racing. The series sees track champion 4tw-Tim Ward of Mesa, Arizona in command.

After the lightning fast 18-Terry Belcher Jr. from Arizona pocketed two of the $1000 main event wins with the opener and race three early in the ten race series, Ward and Nebraska traveler 95-Dylan Smith have also each won two features by coming on strong in the past two weekends.

Individual show winners in the series include local racer 44-Jason Noll of El Mirage and Iowa’s 10m-Jeremy Mills.

Track champ Ward will have a four-point edge over 2010 winter challenge champion Smith as the series concludes on the scheduled Feb. 19-20 twin bill.

Friday February 11th will see an open practice for all divisions from 6:00pm to 9:00pm. Front grandstand entry is free during practice; pit passes are $15 per person .

This coming Saturday and Sunday (Feb. 19-20) CSP will host the $1000-Win IMCA MODIFIEDS, the 22nd ANNUAL www.dwarfcar.com NATIONALS, the 2nd ANNUAL WESTERN OUTLAW DWARFCAR NATIONALS and the 2nd ANNUAL DESERT MODLITE NATIONALS.
