Travis was up today and "walking".  Nurses assisted him and supported his splinted legs and helped him move struggling with stiffened legs walking.   His condition is still very critical, but you would never know it by his actions.   He is driven by sheer determination to race to his recovery--pushing through pain and challenges to stand and move.  His incredible spirit and determination in the recovery process is nothing less than in his racing, he is a hard charger and his checkered flag is recovery.
