The "Kitchen Cooked" Sprint Car Summer Shootout is getting closer and closer.  For those who have not heard, the Ideal Ready Mix Sprint Invaders will do battle on the high-banked 1/4 mile Sunday, August 1st, at the Peoria Speedway in Peoria, IL.  Grandstands will open at 4:30pm and hotlaps will be approx 5:45-6:00pm.  Adults will be $18 and kids 6-12 will be $10.  Kids under 6 will be free.  Also with the Sprint Invaders, will be a $1,000 to win modified show ($100 to start), Illinois Outlaw Lightning Sprints, and $300 to win 4 cyl. Hornets.  Pit passes will be $25.  This will be one show a sprint car fan will not want to miss.
