World of Outlaws Event at Orange County Fair Speedway Postponed by Rain

Middletown, NY- May 18, 2008-Persistent rain throughout the day on Sunday, with more rain on the way has forced the postponed of the Advance Auto Parts World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series event originally scheduled for tonight at Orange County Fair Speedway in Middletown, New York.

The event has tentatively been rescheduled for Wednesday, September 24.

The Advance Auto Parts World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series returns to action on Friday, May 23 with the Rite Aid Outlaws Showdown, at The Dirt Track @ Lowe's Motor Speedway in Concord, North Carolina which will be broadcast LIVE on SPEED from 8-11 p.m.

Jason Meyers, the current World of Outlaws championship points leader will appear on Wind Tunnel with host Dave Despain tonight at 9 p.m. Eastern on SPEED. Meyers leads the series with four A-Feature wins in nine events this season. The native of Clovis, California won at The Dirt Track @ Lowe's Motor Speedway last fall during the inaugural Outlaws World Finals.
