World of Outlaws Point Leader Jason Meyers to Appear on Wind Tunnel this Sunday
Concord, NC- May 16, 2008-Jason Meyers has been one of the hottest drivers in all of racing this season. He has won four A-Feature events with the Advance Auto Parts World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series, including on Tuesday night in the Commonwealth Clash at Lernerville Speedway and is the current series championship point leader. He has eight Top-10 finishes in nine starts.
Meyers will talk about his fast start to the 2008 season, on Wind Tunnel with host Dave Despain on SPEED, Sunday, May 18 at 9 p.m. Eastern. The native of Clovis, California will also look ahead to the Rite Aid Outlaws Showdown at The Dirt Track @ Lowe's Motor Speedway, which will air LIVE on SPEED from 8-11 p.m. Eastern on Friday, May 23.
Meyers won at The Dirt Track @ Lowe's Motor Speedway last season during the inaugural Outlaws World Finals in November. The finale of that event was broadcast LIVE on SPEED and hosted by Despain.
Past Advance Auto Parts World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series drivers that have appeared on Wind Tunnel include: 20-time series champion Steve Kinser and two-time defending series titlist Donny Schatz.
The first World of Outlaws event on SPEED this season will be the Rite Aid Outlaws Showdown from The Dirt Track @ Lowe's Motor Speedway on Friday, May 23. The race will air LIVE from 8-11 p.m. Eastern.
