Missouri High-Banked Nationals Postponed Until September by Severe Weather
Osborn, MO- May 2, 2008- Severe storms and tornadoes ripped through Western Missouri on Thursday night and early Friday morning, dumping inches of rain that flooded the pit area and parking lots at U.S. 36 Raceway in Osborn, Missouri, forcing the postponement of the third annual Missouri High-Banked Nationals for the Advance Auto Parts World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series.
The event has been rescheduled for Friday, September 12, which will make for a thrilling week of action that will see the series compete four times in a five day period at four bullrings.
The Missouri High-Banked Nationals will follow a stop Clay County Fair Speedway in Spencer, Iowa, and will precede the event Heartland Park Topeka. The four-race swing through the Heartland will wrap-up at the state-of-the-art Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Missouri on Sunday, September 14.
The Advance Auto Parts World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series returns to action on Saturday, May 3 at the famed Knoxville Raceway in Knoxville, Iowa. It will be the first of three events at the half-mile for the series this season.
