Donny Schatz & Jason Meyers Represent World of Outlaws in National Speed Sport News Power Rankings

Donny Schatz and Jason Meyers both represent the Advance Auto Parts World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series this week in the Top-10 of the National Speed Sport News Power Rankings.

Schatz, who led the rankings for the first five weeks of this season is fourth on the list, after a runner-up finish in the Cactus Classic at Manzanita Speedway in Phoenix, Arizona last Saturday. The two-time defending Advance Auto Parts World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series champion has four Top-10 finishes in four starts this season with the series driving the Armor All Chevrolet powered J&J for Tony Stewart Racing.

The North Dakota native opened the season with two wins with the All Star Circuit of Champions at Volusia Speedway Park in Florida during the 37th Annual Alltel DIRTcar Nationals. Schatz led the Power Rankings a number of times last season en route to being named the Economaki Champion of Champions by National Speed Sport News.

Meyers, who earned his second A-Feature win of the season last week, made his debut in the NSSN Power Rankings in the sixth position. The native of Clovis, California aboard the GLR Investments KPC with Charlie Garrett power has four Top-Five finishes in four starts this season and is just two points out of the lead in the World of Outlaws championship standings.

Meyers currently leads the series in laps led and money earned. He also has qualified in the Top-Five in time trials in three of the four events this season. Dating back to the end of the 2007 season, he has finished seventh or better in 19consecutive sprint car races, including two starts in Australia during the off-season.
