Fresh off the most successful season of his career with the World of Outlaws, Joey Saldana will stop by Autosport Radio live on Tuesday night, December 4.
Don Kay, longtime motorsports broadcaster/journalist and host of the show, will discuss a variety of topics with the 1996 Kevin Gobrecht Rookie of the Year, including his career-best second-place finish in World of Outlaws championship points, his off-season racing ventures and what his goals are for 2008 among other things.
Saldana, a native of Brownsburg, Indiana, won a total of 13 events this season with the World of Outlaws driving for Kasey Kahne Racing, including the $50,000 Gold Cup Race of Champions at Silver Dollar Speedway in Chico, California. He also was one of just three drivers that led more than 300 laps of feature racing competition on the season.
Saldana currently is preparing for a trip to New Zealand to compete in a handful of races, before returning stateside for the famed Chili Bowl Midgets Nationals in early January, and then a trek to Australia, in mid-January.
The show will originate live from McGilvery's, located at 3009 North High School Road in Speedway, Indiana at 7 p.m. Eastern, 6 p.m. Central on Tuesday night.
