World of Outlaws Championship Points Through November 2

Concord, NC—November 3, 2007--By: Tony Veneziano, World of Outlaws PR Director
 
Donny Schatz earned his 70th Top-10 finish of the season on Friday night in the first A-Feature of the inaugural Outlaws World Finals, to wrap up his second consecutive World of Outlaws title. He leads the series with 19 A-Feature wins and has finished in the Top-Five in 52 A-Feature events.
 
Joey Saldana remains second in points, with the final night of the Outlaws World Finals on-tap for tonight. The native of Brownsburg, Indiana has 65 Top-10 finishes in 2007.
 
Danny Lasoski remains third in points, on the strength of six A-Feature wins and 47 Top-10 finishes.
 
Jason Meyers won for the fifth time this season on Friday night, which vaulted him into the fourth position in the championship standings. He also closed to within 53 points of Danny Lasoski in the standings for the third position.
 
Daryn Pittman is fifth in points, just four markers behind Meyers. The native of Owasso, Oklahoma has won six times this season and has 51 Top-10 finishes.
 
Steve Kinser used a fourth-place on Friday night to remain sixth in points, with Craig Dollansky seventh and Paul McMahan eighth.
 
Tim Shaffer finished third on Friday night to move into the ninth position in points.
 
Jason Solwold is 10th in points, just 24 markers behind Shaffer.
 
The World of Outlaws wrap-up the 2007 season with the finale of the inaugural Outlaws World Finals tonight, LIVE on SPEED from 8-11 p.m. Eastern.
