The World of Outlaws have competed a total of 15 times at The Dirt Track @ Lowe's Motor Speedway dating back to 2000. For 15 consecutive days leading up to the inaugural Outlaws World Finals, each of those 15 events will be recounted, culminating with the opening night of inaugural Outlaws World Finals on November 1 at The Dirt Track @ Lowe's Motor Speedway. Today will focus on the 11th of those 15 events that was contested on October 11, 2002.
 
Tyler Walker took the lead from pole sitter Tim Shaffer on the first lap of the 25-lap preliminary feature and would go on to lead the entire distance to capture the $5,000 win.
 
Craig Dollansky was third, with Daryn Pittman fourth, Jac Haudenschild fifth, Steve Kinser sixth, Joey Saldana seventh and Danny Lasoski ninth.
 
Other current World of Outlaws drivers that competed in the event included: Donny Schatz, Chad Kemenah, Jeremy Campbell and Randy Hannagan.
 
The inaugural Outlaws World Finals featuring the World of Outlaws and the World of Outlaws Late Model Series are set for November 1-3, with the finale of the event set to be broadcast LIVE on SPEED on November 3 from 8-11 p.m. Eastern.
