The World of Outlaws have competed a total of 15 times at The Dirt Track @ Lowe's Motor Speedway dating back to 2000. For 15 consecutive days leading up to the inaugural Outlaws World Finals, each of those 15 events will be recounted, culminating with the opening night of inaugural Outlaws World Finals on November 1 at The Dirt Track @ Lowe's Motor Speedway. Today will focus on the 10th of those 15 events that was contested on May 25, 2002.
 
Greg Hodnett completed a clean sweep of the weekend, leading three separate times, and eventually holding off Jac Haudenschild, Steve Kinser and Donny Schatz for the win. Hodnett, the 1993 World of Outlaws Kevin Gobrecht Rookie of the Year started on the pole and was in front for the first three laps, before Haudenschild got around him on lap four. Kinser, the 20-time World of Outlaws champion, took the lead from Haudenschild on the ninth lap, with the latter again moving to the point on the 11^th circuit. Hodnett made the pass for the lead and ultimately the win on the 25^th lap of the 30-lap contest, to claim the $20,000 top prize.
 
Haudenschild was second, with Schatz third and Kinser fourth.
 
Craig Dollansky was sixth, with Joey Saldana seventh and Danny Lasoski ninth.
 
Other current World of Outlaws drivers that competed in the event included: Daryn Pittman, Tim Shaffer, Paul McMahan, Jason Sides, Jeremy Campbell and Randy Hannagan
 
The inaugural Outlaws World Finals featuring the World of Outlaws and the World of Outlaws Late Model Series are set for November 1-3, with the finale of the event set to be broadcast LIVE on SPEED on November 3 from 8-11 p.m. Eastern.
