Concord, NC—October 22, 2007--By: Tony Veneziano, World of Outlaws PR Director The World of Outlaws have competed a total of 15 times at The Dirt Track @ Lowe's Motor Speedway dating back to 2000. For 15 consecutive days leading up to the inaugural Outlaws World Finals, each of those 15 events will be recounted, culminating with the opening night of inaugural Outlaws World Finals on November 1 at The Dirt Track @ Lowe's Motor Speedway. Today will focus on the sixth of those 15 events that was contested on May 26, 2001. Mark Kinser claimed his third consecutive World of Outlaws A-Feature triumph at the state-of-the-art 0.4-mile track, again earning $20,000 for his win. He took the lead from his cousin Steve Kinser on the fifth lap and would go on to lead the remainder of the 40-lap contest. Donny Schatz was third, with Tim Shaffer fourth, Craig Dollansky ninth and Jason Meyers 10th. Current World of Outlaws drivers that also competed in that event included: Danny Lasoski, Paul McMahan, Joey Saldana, Randy Hannagan, Jason Sides, Jeremy Campbell and Daryn Pittman. The inaugural Outlaws World Finals featuring the World of Outlaws and the World of Outlaws Late Model Series are set for November 1-3, with the finale of the event set to be broadcast LIVE on SPEED on November 3 from 8-11 p.m. Eastern.
