World of Outlaws At a Glance: Manzanita Speedway & Perris Auto Speedway

WHAT
* The World of Outlaws will make their final two appearances on the West Coast this weekend with an event at Manzanita Speedway in Phoenix on Friday, October 19 and a return to Perris Auto Speedway in California for the first time since 2004 on Saturday, October 20. With just four events remaining on the 2007 schedule, Donny Schatz has a 107 point lead on Joey Saldana in the World of Outlaw championship standings. Schatz won his third consecutive race on Saturday night at Thunderbowl Raceway in California, as he continues to close in his second straight World of Outlaws title. He was victorious in the series last visit to Manzanita Speedway in March, while Jason Meyers won in the series last visit to Perris Auto Speedway in 2004.
WHEN
* On Friday, October 19 at Manzanita Speedway, pit gates will open at 2 p.m. Pacific, with grandstand gates opening at 4 p.m. Pacific and hot laps set for 6 p.m. Pacific.
* On Saturday, October 20 at Perris Auto Speedway, the pit gates will open at 2 p.m. Pacific, with grandstand gates opening at 4 p.m. Pacific and hot laps set for approximately 5:30 p.m. Pacific.

WHERE
* Manzanita Speedway is located in Phoenix, Arizona. Take I-10 to exit 141 and go four miles south on 35th Avenue to West Broadway.
 
* Perris Auto Speedway is located on the Lake Perris Fairgrounds. Take the 215 Freeway, exit at the Ramona Expressway and go east two miles to the fairgrounds.
TICKETS
* On Friday, October 19 at Manzanita Speedway, adult reserved tickets in sections AA-DD of the bleachers will be $32, with tickets in sections A-D in the main grandstand $35, with reserved tickets for kids in the main grandstand and bleachers $15. Adult general admission tickets will be $30, with kids 6-12 years of age just $10, while kids 5-under will be admitted free of charge. * On Saturday, October 20 at Perris Auto Speedway, adult general admission tickets will be $44, with general admission tickets for children 12-under $25. Adult reserved tickets in the middle grandstand will be $46, with reserved tickets for children 12-under in the middle grandstand $26. ON TELEVISION
* The next broadcast for the World of Outlaws on SPEED will be the finale of the inaugural Outlaws World Finals from the Dirt Track @ Lowe's Motor Speedway on Saturday, November 3. The event will air LIVE from 8-11 p.m. Eastern on SPEED and will feature not only the World of Outlaws, but also the World of Outlaws Late Model Series.

* Manzanita Speedway is a semi-banked half-mile oval. The track record of 15.255 seconds was established by Kerry Madsen on March 3, 2007.

* Perris Auto Speedway is a semi-banked half-mile oval. The track record of 13.875 seconds was established by Danny Lasoski on February 23, 2002.
