Todd fulfilled a life long dream when he crossed the finish line first to take the checkered flag Saturday night, September 15th at Devils Bowl Speedway in Mesquite, Texas.  Todd's sprint car driving career began four years ago. He is carrying the sponsorship banner of Sport Clips for the second straight year. Sport Clips is the national leader in haircuts for men and boys and is headquartered in Todd's hometown of Georgetown, Texas.

Evans took the lead in the feature a few laps into the race after making a pass on the #24 car of David Gailey. The #72 piloted by Charlie Brown attempted a challenge for the lead late in the race but Todd aired out the14E in the straightaways, pulling away from Brown for the victory.
