7 Days Away and Counting until $3,000 to win LATE MODEL MANIA for FASTRAK National Tour April 11th at Lavonia Speedway

(Carnesville, Georgia) – We are 7 days away before the next visit by “The Nations First, Premier and Most Prestigious Pro Late Model Series in the Country” drivers and teams prepare to hit the tracks again for the rescheduled running of LATE MODEL MANIA at the 3/8th mile Lavonia Speedway in Georgia set for Friday April 11th. The monster event was set for March 14, 15, 16 but unfortunately Mother Nature ruined the final day of action after the completion of preliminaries on Saturday. The $3,000 to win National event with the FASTRAK Racing Series will be the 2nd event of the 2014 season at “The Smoothest Surface Dirt Track in the Southeast” – Lavonia Speedway.


The April 11th event will again be a FASTRAK National Event for the touring series paying $3,000 to win. The drivers that showed up for preliminaries on Saturday March 15th will be “locked-in” the LATE MODEL MANIA 40 lap show and the race program will continue on Friday April 11th with a B-main to set the rest of the field for the 24 cars starting positions for the big show. The front row is set for LATE MODEL MANIA with 3 time and defending FASTRAK Southeast National Champion #71 David Smith and #85 Steve “HOT-ROD” Lamance ready to take the green linen to start the feature. The event will also be “under the lights” at night instead of the originally scheduled daytime events. Remember that Lavonia Speedway will kick off their

2014 racing season on Friday April 4th and then the following week will be the FASTRAK Racing Series running the $3,000 to win LATE MODEL MANIA spectacular.

When you come up the hill and enter the NEW Lavonia Speedway and Entertainment Complex located in Georgia you will see that it’s had a total facelift from recent seasons. Better concessions, Painted pits and retaining walls, bigger pit areas with easy entrance, newly painted grandstand seating, a NEW state of the art PA system with quality sound and the list goes on and on. It all kicks off the 2014 season with the much anticipated return of Late Model Mania at Lavonia Speedway & Entertainment Complex. The Triple Header Late Model portion will feature 3 premier touring series in the Southeast United States.
