LATE MODEL MANIA 2014 Supers-Crates-Limiteds at Lavonia Speedway This Weekend!!



March 13th, 2014 – FASTRAK PR – (Lavonia, Georgia) – It has been a long cold and miserable winter. Everyone in the racing community is hyped and excited for LATE MODEL MANIA which will officially kick off in less than 24 hours at Lavonia Speedway in Georgia. The “Triple Late Model Spectacular” takes place this weekend March 14th 15th and 16th. When you come up the hill and enter the NEW Lavonia Speedway and Entertainment Complex located in Georgia you will see that it’s had a total facelift from recent seasons. Better concessions, Painted pits and retaining walls, bigger pit areas with easy entrance, newly painted grandstand seating, a NEW state of the art PA system with quality sound and the list goes on and on. It all kicks off the 2014 season with the much anticipated return of Late Model Mania at Lavonia Speedway & Entertainment Complex. The Triple Header Late Model portion will feature 3 premier touring series in the Southeast United States.



The FASTRAK Racing Series National Touring Division will be returning to Late Model Mania and the best will battle for $3,000 to win which will also get the points season underway. Randy McCoy’s Southeastern Late Model Sportsman Series will compete for $2,000 to win bringing in an excited group of Limited Late Model contenders highlighting the “region’s” best in Super Late Model racing will be taking on the 3/8th mile Lavonia Speedway under the sanctioning of the Ultimate Super Late Model Series battling it out for $5,000 to win on a Sunday afternoon show only. Plus Lavonia Speedway racing classes Modified Street, Stock Four Cylinder, Stock V-8. There will also be a Race Car “Car Show” on Friday afternoon before “Open Practice under the lights.”



Friday March 14th, 2014
“ON TRACK ACTIVITY” – Open Practice and Car Show
Gates Open at 5PM – Controlled Practice from 7-9PM – Car Show Judging to Follow
Admissions: Grandstands/Trackside – FREE * Pits – $10 Dollars * Children 10 & Under – FREE with Adult



Saturday March 15th, 2014
“ON TRACK ACTIVITY” – Hot Laps, Qualifying, Heat Races for FASTRAK Racing Series and Southeast Limiteds, Plus Heats and Mains for Hobby 602 – $500 to win/ No Entry Fee, Modified Street – $500 to win/ No Entry Fee and 1st visit by Georgia Mini Sprints Series.
Gates Open at 11AM – Drivers Meeting at 1PM – Hot Laps to follow with Saturday racing program
Admissions: Grandstands – $15 Dollars * Trackside – $17 Dollars * Pits – $25 Dollars * Children 10 & Under – FREE with Paid Adult



Sunday March 16th, 2014
“ON TRACK ACTIVITY” – Hot Laps All Divisions, ULTIMATE Super Late Models Full Show – Qualifying, Heats, B-Mains and Feature – 50 Laps – $5,000 to win, FASTRAK Racing Series NATIONAL Event – B-mains and Feature – 40 Laps – $3,000 to win, Southeast Limited Late Models Series – B-Mains and Feature – 30 Laps – $2,000 to win, Stock 4 Cylinder – Heats and Feature $500 to win/ No Entry Fee!!


Gates Open at 11AM – Drivers Meeting at 1PM – Hot Laps to follow with Sunday racing program
Admissions: Grandstands – $20 Dollars * Trackside – $25 Dollars * Pits – $30 Dollars * Children 10 & Under – FREE with Paid Adult



OUR GOAL IS TOO HAVE THE COMPLETE SUNDAY PORTION OF “LATE MODEL MANIA” COMPLETE BY 6PM SUNDAY EVENING TO RESPECT THE NEAR BY CHURCHES ALSO SO FAMILIES CAN MAKE CHURCH SERVICES OR GET BACK ON THE ROAD AT A DECENT HOUR!! Last Year we we’re finished with entire program at 6:07PM, that’s our game plan for this year.
