After earning his 15^th A-Feature win of the season on Wednesday night at Clay County Fair Speedway in the World of Outlaws inaugural visit to the reconfigured 3/8-mile, Donny Schatz extended his lead in the championship standings to 24 points over Joey Saldana. In addition to adding four points to his lead by way of the victory and Saldana's runner-up finish, Schatz also earned a bonus point for being the fifth fastest driver in time trials.

 

Danny Lasoski remains third in points with five A-Feature wins and 42 Top-10 finishes on the season.

Jason Meyers moved into the fourth position in points on Wednesday night, with Steve Kinser fifth and Daryn Pittman sixth. Kinser and Pittman are separated by just four points.

 

The rest of the Top-10 is: Craig Dollansky, Paul McMahan, Jason Solwold and Tim Shaffer.

 

Terry McCarl used a seventh place finish on Wednesday night to move into the 11^th spot in points, with Jac Haudenschild just two markers behind him.

 

Kerry Madsen earned his 16^th Top-10 finish of the season on Wednesday night and continues to lead the battle for the Kevin Gobrecht Rookie of the Year Award.

 

The World of Outlaws return to action on Friday, September 14 at Heartland Park in Topeka, Kansas for the first time since 2002.

There have been 64 World of Outlaws A-Feature events and two Preliminary Feature events this season.
