2013 FASTRAK World Championships Events Format and the Purse Payout in Beckley, West Virginia!!

(Carnesville, Georgia) – Before anyone gets started. Yes the point fund is less this year. I hate even thinking about it. However when new series start and teams go out and support them and not us, we have no choice. We sell fewer engines, we sell fewer tires and less income, means less back to you. Not to mention the rain outs alone this year equate to almost $90,000.

I honestly wish we could pay a Million to win, but when we started there was only FASTRAK and we paid $50,000 to win. Then another and another and another to down to $30,000 to win. Then another and down to $20,000 to win. There have been 3 new crate series start up against us just this year 2013. If more and more series start up sooner or later it wont be worth anyone’s while to even have them anymore. WE NEED YOUR HELP. HELP SUPPORT FASTRAK BECAUSE YOU’VE ALREADY SEEN US GIVE BACK TO OUR TEAMS. You don’t have to guess if someone will or not, because we already have. We will keep crates alive if you help us.

TOTAL POINT FUNDS AND CHAMPIONSHIP MONIES FOR 2013 IS OVER $180,000. STILL NOT BAD PAYOUT FOR A $5,500 ENGINE.

BECKLEY MOTORSPORTS PARK, WV – 2013 FASTRAK WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS FORMAT AND PURSE STRUCTURE

KING OF THE HILL – Thursday Night -

We will take the top 5 drivers PRESENT (could be 1st 2nd, 5th, 9th or any combination to get 5) from each weekly region and each touring series. We will pair them up against each other. 2 cars on the track at a time. Green, White and Checkered. Winner stays in infield to compete again. The loser is eliminated. We go through elimination rounds until one driver becomes KING OF THE HILL and takes home a $1000 payday. No entry fee for this event.

Friday night there will be (2) $2000 to win features TOPLESS
*Qualify, heats, B mains, 2 features (30 laps)
*Top 20 from each race transfer to the “chance to qualify” for WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP the next day.
*IF you are in the TOP 10 from a weekly track or top 5 in a tour, then you get a second chance to qualify for the WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP if you do not transfer from Friday night
*This does not mean show up on Saturday and qualify for WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP. That is not a 2nd chance.

Saturday there will be (2) $2000 to win features
*One for WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP – One For WORLD CHALLENGE
*Qualify- heats- last chance – features

*WORLD CHALLENGE RACE FIRST (50 laps)
*Engine Builders 25 next. Non Qualifiers event

*WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP Event (75 laps)
(there will be more time this year to adjust your car versus last year with the back to back races. The non qualifiers race will be between them).

WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP POINT FUND (To be paid at banquet as usual)
$15,000, $7000, $5000, $3000, $2500, $2000, $1500, $1250, $1000, $950, $900, $850, $800, $750 through 24th.

WORLD CHALLENGE point fund was paid through the REGIONAL WEEKLY POINT FUNDS OVER $40,000 as voted on by the drivers.
World Challenge will be a purse only event. $2000 to win. We are paying both Regional Weekly Point funds $5000 to win each Region and through the top 30 in that region. (over $40,000).

FASTRAK WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP/WORLD CHALLENGE WEEKEND. The race will take place on Thursday, Friday and Saturday October 3^rd, 4^th, 5^th at the 3/8th mile “Fastest Dirt Track in the South” – Beckley Motorsports Park!!

Thursday open practice then the NEW King of the Hill $1000 to win, winner take all event.

Friday: “FRIDAY NIGHT FIGHTS” with (2) feature events (TOPLESS FASTRAK Late Models)

Saturday: WORLD CHALLENGE – Non Qualifiers feature event – WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP.
