Official FASTRAK Points Update Released as $5,000 Cotton Pickin’ 50 Nationals Quickly Approaches – 3 Championships to Decide with BIG Money for the Taking!!

(Carnesville, Georgia) – This is the weekend that all comes down to it for the regular season before the post season FASTRAK World Championship II to be held October 3rd – 5th at Beckley Motorsports Park in Prosperity, West Virginia. The drivers of the “Nations First & Premier Pro Late Models Series in the Country” – FASTRAK Racing Series prepare for the final weekend of FASTRAK Weekly Track Points, FASTRAK Regional Points and the FASTRAK City Chevrolet Southeast/Mideast Touring Division Championships. This is also the last chance to get the 10 races needed to qualify for the “Biggest Grassroots Payout Weekend in Dirt Racing.”



The following listed below is a complete link to all of the 2013 FASTRAK Racing Series Points Chases as they will conclude this weekend with the deadline of September 22nd!!



$10,000 CHAMPIONSHIP SOUTHEAST TOURING – A great battle between #11 David Smith and #8 Ron Parker comes down to this weekend. All season long it’s been these two drivers vying it out for the coveted $10,000 championship. Smith looks to lock up his 3rd FASTRAK SE title and also the 2nd consecutive year in a row. Then there’s Park who was the 2013 “FASTRAK SE Triple Crown Champion” in May. The title will be decided this Saturday night at the Inaugural “Cotton Pickin’ 50 at County Line Raceway with $5,000 to win as part of the Nationals. Who will it be?? $5,000 CHAMPIONSHIP NORTHEAST TOURING – #111 “Max Blair from Titusville, Pennsylvania locked up the 2013 FASTRAK City Chevrolet Northeast Touring Division championship at Eriez Speedway a few weeks back at “September Sweep Weekend”. Now he prepares to claim another $5,000 being the NE Regional champion trying to get by Kyle Thomas in a tight race to the finish this weekend in the points. $5,000 NE/SE WEEKLY REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP – 2 FASTRAK Weekly Regional titles are for the taking. In the Northeast #32 Kyle Thomas who is also the 2013 Tyler County Speedway FASTRAK champion is holding on to a mere -3 points lead over #111 Max Blair last year’s $22,000 FASTRAK World Champion and also claimed the 2013 FASTRAK City Chevrolet Northeast Touring Division title. On the Weekly level these guys have been going at it 1 and 2 flip-flopping back and forth for positions and deciding the points by where they finish on the track also. This weekend the NE Weekly Regionals which pays $5,000 to the champion will be revealed after September 22nd.



In the Southeast Weekly Regional tile run for $5,000 the battle between #45 Eddie Hambrick and #28 Aaron Barley is also heated with a little more separation by just -9 point but rumor has it these “warlords” are really racing hard, fast and furious the last month as this Championship is going to the wire.
