Inaugural FASTRAK Northeast Triple Crown to be Decided at Marion Center Saturday August 24th

(Carnesville, Georgia) – There is only one more race to go to decide the 1st ever Triple Crown Champion in the Northeast for the FASTRAK Northeast Touring Division. 2 of the 3 scheduled races have been completed and only one more hangs in the balance. That event is slated for this Saturday night August 24th with a Sunday August 25th Rain Date also in place. The event will now be decided at the ¼ mile Marion Center Speedway in Pennsylvania. The race itself will pay $2,000 to the winner for the complete racing show but the prestige behind being the 1st ever Northeast FASTRAK Racing Series Triple Crown Champion is what everyone is aiming for on this August summer night.



The race that was scheduled at Marion Center Speedway in Pennsylvania which was supposed to be the second race on this prestigious 3 race mini-series was POSTPONED due to inclement weather back on Saturday July 27th. This August 24th date will now close out the Inaugural 2013 FASTRAK Northeast Triple Crown. On that night at Marion Center Speedway we will crown the Inaugural FASTRAK “Summer Sizzler Triple Crown” Champion in the Northeast. Wayne Robertson is currently at the top of the mountain but there are other drivers in the hunt like Matt Latta, Michael Mitchell, Chad Wright and others within striking distance to pull an upset. Anything can and will happen in the “Triple Crown” finale which offers some of the most exciting intense racing throughout the year.



Whoever retains the “Triple Crown” title will be acknowledged in front of the massive crowd at Marion Center Speedway on August 24th and have a special ceremony for their honor with a cape, crown, scepter and finally being awarded the massive 60 pound “Triple Crown Cup Trophy”. 2 Races in…One More Remains…Wayne Robertson Leads now, but who will it be a night’s end when the checkered flag falls at Marion Center Speedway August 24th and who will become the 1st ever FASTRAK Northeast Triple Crown Champion??


The 1/4 mile dirt track oval is located on the top of a hill, just off PA route 119, 3 miles north of Marion Center and 10 miles south of Punxsutawney at 484 Potts Road, Marion Center, PA 15759. The track was built in the fall of 1965 with the first races in the summer of 1966. The business has been owned and operated by the Potts family (Dave, June, Rich, and Janet) ever since.
