I-77 Raceway Park Set to Host Inaugural FASTRAK Sweeney Cars Northeast Event Saturday August 3rd

(Carnesville, Georgia) – History was made in the Northeast this past weekend for the FASTRAK Sweeney Cars Northeast Touring Division having their first ever “Summer Sizzler Triple Crown”. Now the “Nations First & Premier Pro Late Model Series in the Country” in the Northeast is set to do it again this Saturday August 3rd. Join us at I-77 Raceway Park in the “Wild & Wonderful State” for the 1st ever FASTRAK Sweeney Cars Northeast Touring visit by the “warlords” of the Northeast for a $2,000 to win show with an almost $12,000 purse up for grabs.



During this 2013 race season, I-77 Raceway Park is the only track that will also allow the FASTRAK competitors to run either in the Northeast or Southeast region of their choice. Something that’s never been done at any track before. With that kept in mind we are expecting Northeast and Southeast competitors make the trip to Ripley this weekend. Promoter Joseph Rush stated the following, “I have been a big fan of FASTRAK for a long time and we’re very excited and looking forward to this big event. FASTRAK offers a top notch form of entertainment and it’s handled very professionally.” He concluded saying, “We have had this event marked on our calendar since the season even started and we can’t wait for this Saturday night!!”



The Ultimate Super Late Models Series our sister series to FASTRAK put on one great spectacle back on June 1st with #101 Casey Roberts and #28 Eddie Carrier Jr. battling side by side wheel to wheel for the win in 40 breathtaking laps. You can certainly expect the same thing this weekend as the “best of the best” in FASTRAK Pro Late Model racing converge to the 3/8th mile. I-77 Raceway Park operated by Kenny Newhouse and Joseph Rush has been putting race fans on the edge of their seats since the mid-1970s. Dirt track racing is a way of life the way it should be on the red clay track in Ripley, West Virginia.
