“The BULLRING” FASTRAK Northeast Spectacle Lands 3^rd Different Touring Winner in 2013

(Middlebourne, West Virginia) – For the second time in 2013 the FASTRAK Sweeney Cars Northeast Touring Division visited “The BULLRING”- Tyler County Speedway. The race offered some spectacular side by side and even 3-4 wide racing for those fans who like that style. Also at times some pretty eventful wrecks throughout the race. With perfect race track conditions to run the top or bottom when the checkered flag finally fell over the field it birthed a 3^rd different FASTRAK Northeast Tour winner in 3 races. For one driver when it’s your night, no matter the obstacles, it’s your night.

27 of the “best of the best” in FASTRAK pro late model racing we’re prepared to take “The BULLRING” by the horns confidently. In VP race for the Pole Qualifying it was #1c Rocket chassis of 2011 FASTRAK Grand Nationals Champion Mike Pegher Jr. from Wexford, Pennsylvania. This then set up 3 action packed “caution free” heat races as the field was set for the 30 lap feature. Heat Race Winners included the following #1 Mike Pegher Jr., #2 #111 Max Blair and #55 Joe Martin.

Then the Top 2 finishers which equaled 6 cars from the Heat races we’re put in the 4 lap Tyler County Dash. In addition to the 6 drivers battling for the starting positions for the 30 lap feature they we’re paired with 6 kids that are a part of the Tyler County Racing Kids Club at “The BULLRING”. When the 4 lap dash got under way #1c Pegher and #111 Blair rallied side by side until Pegher cleared him off turn 2 on lap 2 and never looked back taking the FASTRAK Dash win and locking himself in for the starting position P1 for the A-main. The young man by the name of Hunter Fulks was delighted and ecstatic winning the bike that was presented to him by the FASTRAK Northeast drivers and being a part of the Dash Victory presentation. After an awesome 4-wide salute which included fireworks and fans being able to join the festivities the field was set with FASTRAK Northeast racing competitors #1c Pegher and #111 Max Blair bringing the field to the green.

The 30 lap feature was a very eventful exciting show with 3-4 wide racing all over “The BULLRING” all through the entire 26 car field. It was determined at the conclusion of the heat races with track promoter John Watson to have everyone start the A-main feature race. One driver was unable to start but we have to mention because he’s a class act standout on our tour. #75 Colton Flinner from Allison Park, Pennsylvania had mechanical failure during qualifying. Some awesome racing was pretty much the entire sequence of events as drivers we’re quickly on the loud pedal rallying to get position in the 30 lap sprint. This race had it all 3-4 wide close corners racing as the “Premier Pro Late Model Series in the Country’s” best grabbed “The BULLRING” by the horns. However bottom line when it’ your night, it’s your night and for the Cochran Automotive, Triple S Auto Sales Rocket chassis racing team it was. Mike Pegher Jr. would hold off rallies by #32 local standout Kyle Thomas, #111 Max Blair, #14 Dan Angelicchio,#55 Joe Martinand more turn of events to dominate “The BULLRING”. He would also be the 3^rd different winner on the FASTRAK Sweeney Cars Northeast Touring Division in 3 different shows so far in 2013.

The next stop on the 2013 FASTRAK Sweeney Cars Northeast Touring Division will be this coming up weekend June 21^st and June 23^rd. On Friday night we’ll make our first Touring stop of the year at Raceway 7 in Conneaut, Ohio and on Sunday afternoon we’ll be at the Eriez Speedway in Erie, Pennsylvania. These will certainly be two great races you do not want to miss.
