The 2nd Annual Carey Heavner Memorial Race Up Next at Cleveland County Speedway & Motorsports Complex June 14th for the FASTRAK City Chevrolet Southeast/Mideast Touring Division

(Carnesville, Georgia) –The FASTRAK City Chevrolet Touring Division prepares for the summer months of racing. June 14th the 2013 “Decade of Speed Tour” rolls on at Cleveland County Speedway & Motorsports Complex in Lawndale, North Carolina. The race with nearly $12,000+ purse up for grabs will pay $2,000 to winner after 40 laps is complete in the 2nd Annual Carey Heavner Memorial. This will be the 1st stop of the year of 2 visits this 2013 season at the Lawndale, North Carolina ½ mile clay oval.



Going into the 2013 month of summer there’s two drivers battling it out for the top spot of $10,000 dollars being the overall Champion in the 2013 FASTRAK City Chevrolet Touring Division Championship, #8 Ron Parker from Bellwood, North Carolina and #11 David Smith from Inman, South Carolina. Just a mere 4 points separate these 2 drivers going into the next race at Cleveland County Speedway in Lawndale, North Carolina of Friday June 14th.



#22 Jordan Dill in his TNT Race Cars chassis from Landrum, South Carolina is sitting patiently 3rd in the standings not far back at only 47 points. The most recent winner on the FASTRAK City Chevrolet Touring Division at Princeton, West Virginia, #44 Brandon Umberger from Rural Retreat, Virginia in the Team 44 Motorsports Barry Wright chassis sits 4th. With them separated by only a tight 7 points Umberger is ready to get the pass on Dill if the opportunity arises. While the 2013 Rookie of the Year contender and upcoming racer from Gaffney, South Carolina in his #4 Rocket Chassis Taylor Hicks rounds out the Top 5 points.



Drivers in the hunt include #99 Teddy Tate, #24f Jensen Ford, #33 Chris Meadows, #24 Tim Byrd and #41 Joe Cox to close out the Top 10 in the 2013 FASTRAK City Chevrolet Touring Division Point Standings. They’re ready to move up the ladder if the Top 5 faultier in any way.
